CHANGE IS LIFE

In my childhood days, my parents will buy a fowl during Christmas and it will be used in preparing the "Christmas stew".  There was usually an order for the distribution: The first born son gets the head of the chicken as his right. I and my immediate elder sister each got the limbs of the chicken. My immediate younger brother got one of the wings of the chicken sometimes or one of the limbs instead of my immediate elder sister. I cannot remember what my other two elder sisters got. Then the lap, breast and other chunky parts of the chicken will be served to my parents. For every Christmas that came and went, this tradition continued. My elder brother insisted on the head as a right and the house will not remain the same if a mistake is made in giving another person his right, which is the head of the chicken.
