YOUNESS

  My sister said to me a certain time, "I don't like eating a food that tastes like another kind of food. If I'm eating yam and it's tasting like chicken or I'm eating soup and it's tasting like jollof rice, it's confusing to me and I don't like it at all."  This statement made me laugh plus her  facial expression as she was speaking. I thought to myself that she was very selective. Years later, I realized that it was also true for me. I like to eat cucumber, but I will not enjoy eating a banana that tastes like cucumber. I enjoy eating soup and swallow (eba, fufu, etc) but one day, I tasted a jollof macaroni that tasted like soup, I couldn't eat it, at all. If it's egusi soup I'm eating, let it taste like it and not like something else. You feel me. If it's you I'm meeting, let me meet you.
